KAP Non-Dual Immersion Brighton: A Full-Day Kundalini Activation Process Retreat
Updated: Sep 8

If you've been searching for a KAP non-dual immersion in Brighton that goes beyond meditation theory and into direct, felt experience, this one-day retreat was built for exactly that. On Sunday 1st of November 2026, three KAP Level 2 Facilitators - Berenika, Kami and Cansu - are hosting a full day of Kundalini Activation Process (KAP) and non-dual transmission in the heart of Brighton's Lanes, at Yoga in the Lanes.
What Is the Kundalini Activation Process (KAP)?
The Kundalini Activation Process is a modern, secular method of activating and circulating dormant life-force energy (kundalini) through the body. Unlike traditional kundalini yoga, KAP doesn't rely on postures, breathwork techniques, or chanting - we are not efforting to do anything. In KAP we use direct energy transmission from trained facilitators to awaken and move energy through the participant's system while they simply lie down and receive.
What Is Non-Dual Transmission?
Where KAP works with energy/life force, non-dual transmission works with awareness itself - pointing directly at the recognition that the sense of being a separate, limited self is a construction of thought, not a fixed truth. Rather than teaching non-duality as a philosophy, transmission-style sessions create the conditions to taste it directly: moments of spaciousness, presence, and freedom from the usual mental noise.
Combining KAP and non-dual transmission in a single day means you're working with both the energetic body and the sense of self - energy activation to loosen and open, non-dual pointing to rest and recognise what's already here underneath the seeking.

What to Expect on the Day
This is a full-day immersion, not a quick taster session, and the schedule is built to let things unfold slowly rather than rushing from one activity to the next:
KAP transmission (90 minutes) with cacao ceremony - an opening energy activation session, supported by ceremonial cacao to soften the body and open the heart before the deeper work begins
Non-dual transmission #1
A nutritious vegan lunch
Group sharing
Non-dual transmission #2
Non-dual transmission #3
Sharing & Q&As
KAP transmission 60 minutes
Closing circle
Because three facilitators are holding the space together, you can expect close individual support if you need it, without losing the collective energy that a group immersion creates.
Who This Retreat Is For
You don't need any prior experience with kundalini, energy work, or non-duality to take part - this immersion is designed to welcome complete beginners as well as those who've been on this path for years. It tends to suit people who:
Feel drawn to energy work, awakening, or spiritual growth but haven't found a format that goes deep enough
Want a supported, in-person alternative to online KAP sessions
Are curious about non-duality but want a felt experience rather than another book or podcast
Are looking for a Brighton retreat day that doesn't require taking a week off or travelling abroad
If you have health considerations - including pregnancy, a diagnosed mental health condition, or medication that affects your nervous system - it's worth reading our guidance on the event page and all the contraindications are mentioned also in the FAQs. Feel free to message us directly before booking, as KAP involves working closely with the nervous system and energy body.
Benefits of non-dual transmission
Brightening the perspective on life, reality, Self and the ego. Dissolving the boundaries of Self and the 'life', experience profound sense of peace and oneness that can only be achieved through direct experience rather than purely mind-based theory. The long-term effects vary from person to person.

Why Brighton, Why This Venue
Yoga in the Lanes sits right in Brighton's historic Lanes district - an easy, walkable venue whether you're a local or coming down for the day from London or further afield. Brighton's long-standing wellness and alternative-spirituality community makes it a natural home for this kind of work, and a day retreat here means you can be back home the same evening without the commitment of a residential retreat.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need any experience with energy work or meditation to join? No. This immersion is designed to be accessible to complete beginners as well as experienced practitioners - you're guided through everything on the day.
What's the difference between this and an online KAP session? In-person immersions like this one allow for a stronger collective energy field, physical proximity to the facilitators, and direct in-the-room support - something online sessions can't fully replicate.
What might I feel afterwards? Reactions vary widely - some people feel deeply relaxed and clear, others process emotions in the days and weeks that follow. The facilitators can talk you through what's typical if you have questions before booking. Clients that have attended non-dual immersion before report it's life-changing. Direct transmission of non-duality is rare and deeply transformative.
